–Bibeau Succeeds George De Sola In Planned Transition–
FRAZER, PA (March 17, 2005) – DecisionOne today announced the appointment of Neal Bibeau as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Bibeau succeeds George De Sola, who will depart April 1, 2005, in a previously planned transition agreed to by the Board of Directors.
"Neal is the right person to lead DecisionOne as the Company prepares to emerge from Chapter 11 in early May," said Mr. De Sola. "His management experience and proven expertise in driving growth will enable DecisionOne to leverage our improved financial platform to make strategic investments and take advantage of new opportunities in the marketplace."
As reported earlier this week, the Company files a pre-packaged Chapter 11 plan intended to substantially reduce debt and provide a significantly stronger balance sheet.
Mr. Bibeau had previously served as Chief Operating Officer of Focus Technologies Pharmaceutical Services, a specialty central laboratory and data management business supporting the clinical development of new anti-infective drugs. Previously, he spent ten years at the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation, including 5 years at IMS Health, a former operating subsidiary. Mr. Bibeau also served for several years as Corporate Vice President, Marketing and Chief Information Officer for Rosenbluth International, a $3 billion global travel management and business services company. As part of his tenure with Rosenbluth, Mr. Bibeau was the President of the Company's online subsidiaries.
"I am very excited to be joining DecisionOne as the Company moves towards completing its financial restructuring," stated Mr. Bibeau. "In recent years, DecisionOne has entered new markets, enhanced its portfolio of services, added top-tier new clients and earned industry recognition for quality. This is a Company with a strong core business and I look forward to working with the entire DecisionOne team and our customers to build on our leadership position in the industry."
