Continuous Re-certification Affirms DecisionOne’s Commitment to Quality Customer Service and Satisfaction
Devon, PA, July 6, 2006 – DecisionOne, a technology support services firm, announced today that the company’s Logistics and Repair facilities recently achieved ISO 9001:2000 re-certification from the British Standards Institute. The re-certification affirms that all DecisionOne Logistics facilities, including Grove City, Ohio; Northboro, Massachusetts; and Devon, Pennsylvania, are in compliance with the standard’s requirements for quality management based on procedural compliance and customer satisfaction.
DecisionOne’s Logistics services include warehousing and inventory management, advance exchange, staging and configuration, warranty management, repair and refresh services, and testing and screening. By partnering with DecisionOne, customers can focus their IT resources on core strategic initiatives, rather than on costly parts and repair depots, time-consuming hardware preparation and configuration projects, and logistics management.
“DecisionOne is committed to delivering consistent, efficient, high-quality services and support to our customers,” says Steve Martin, EVP and chief operating officer, DecisionOne. “Since receiving our original certifications in 1995, we have continuously achieved ISO 9001:2000 re-certification. This is testament to the longevity of our commitment to quality and one of several ways we measure our service delivery performance and processes to ensure we are meeting customer needs.”
The ISO (International Organization for Standardization), a worldwide federation of national standards bodies, develops and publishes the ISO 9000 family of standards including ISO 9001:2000. The ISO standards provide a framework around which a quality management system can be effectively used and represents an international consensus of good management practices to ensure that certified organizations can consistently deliver the products and/or services that meet their customers’ quality requirements.
